In a short period of time, Dr. Brock has accomplished much; his impressive educational background and ten plus years of executive experience is evidence of this. In May of 2011, Dr. Brock completed the Leadership Coaching Certificate Program at the University of Rochester and McArdle Ramerman Co.   Dr. Brock earned his Doctorate of Education in Executive Leadership from St. John Fisher College August of 2009.  In addition, Dr. Brock holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Communication Studies and a Master’s of Public Administration; both obtained from the State University of New York College at Brockport.
Dr. Brock has extensive experience working with young people and adults in non- profit, corporate, government and collegiate settings, dating back to age 14; serving in direct service, mid-level management, senior management and executive roles. Dr. Brock is often sought after for presentations and independent consulting work. 
Dr. Brock has provided workshops and presentations to scores of groups and individuals at the university, business, educational, and grassroots level.  These workshops range from leadership development to organizational change to strategic planning.  Additionally, Dr. Brock has contracted with local colleges to conduct research studies and currently serves as an adjunct professor for a local college and a faculty member for another research one institution in Rochester, NY. In addition to his local contributions and efforts, Dr. Brock is a bourgeoning,
nationally recognized scholar-practitioner, having worked in various states throughout the country to advance education reform, black male achievement and poverty reduction. Dr. Brock is recognized for his many contributions to the Rochester community as evident by his numerous awards and accolades.  In February of 2007, at age 25, Dr. Brock was named one of Rochester’s Democrat and Chronicle Emerging AfricanAmerican Leaders Under 40.  In September of 2007, Dr. Brock was named class representative-elect for one of the most notable African American leadership development programs in Western New York.  In February of 2010, Dr. Brock was
one of 10 men honored by Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Delta Nu Omega Chapter for his self-less service and endless contributions to the Greater Rochester community.  In April of 2010, Dr. Brock received the Author O. Eve Opportunity for Higher Education Program Alumni of the Year Award at the State University of New York College at Brockport.  In February of 2011, at age 29, Dr. Brock was named one of Rochester, New York’s African American Leaders Under 40 by Messenger Post Media.  In May 2011, Dr. Brock was awarded the New York State TRIO Achiever
award for his professional accomplishments and outstanding service. In November 2013, Dr. Brock received the Rochester Business Journal Top Forty Under 40 Award. In June 2014, Dr. Brock was honored at the Black Men ROC Awards for his tireless efforts to strengthen the Rochester community; and in January 2018, Dr. Brock
received the Man of the Year and Community Leader of the Year Awards at the Black Men Achieve Awards Gala.
Dr. Brock has not only worked with inner-city youth and young adults, he too is a product of the same environment.  A native of Rochester, NY, Dr. Brock experienced firsthand the ills of poverty, crime, drugs and growing up in a single-parent household.  Dr. Brock is charged with the task of addressing social ills such as
poverty and illiteracy and plans to change the outlook of life for inner-city residents of Rochester, NY, across New York State, and beyond.
