Hello

LaRica Muhammad is a Charlotte native and graduate of The University of North Carolina at Charlotte where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. She later earned a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. LaRica worked in various positions in accounting for United Parcel Service, TIAA-CREF, and Time Warner Cable/Spectrum. 

Passionate about children, LaRica decided to leave the corporate world and follow in her grandmother’s footsteps and step into the field of early childhood education. After working with her grandmother in her home daycare for many years learning the childcare business, LaRica took a step out on faith and decided to continue her grandmother’s legacy and expand her business to a large center. Bright Stars Child Development Center is a South Charlotte child care center which provides a nurturing and loving environment for children aged 6 weeks to 12 years old. LaRica is also a Reiki practitioner. In her free time, LaRica loves spending time with her family and traveling. She is a wife and the mother of an amazing nine year-old, Diyari and 5 bonus children.
